The Summer is definitely passing us by very quickly at this point!  In the mountains of Vermont on yesterday’s ride, there were some sections where a few trees actually had fall colors already.  It was also much cooler that the recent weekend rides.  The temperature ranged from 55 to 78 (it was only in the mid 60’s in Vermont.  The point being – get some riding in while the weather is pleasant.

The ride will start at 9:00 AM with kickstands up at 9:30 AM from the Pilot station on Route 7 at the exit of I88 right before the Thruway.  The address is 1128 Duanesburg Road, Rotterdam, NY 12303.

From the Pilot, we will be leaving west on Route 7 until Cobleskill.  From Cobleskill, we will head north a short ways on Route 10 until State Highway 165.  This will meander over to Roseboom where we will head south on Route 166 until Otsego County Route 52 will be used to cut over the hill into Cooperstown.  In Cooperstown we will take a break at the Stewarts before moving on by heading south a little ways out of town on Route 28.  After a few miles we will be taking a series of various county and state roads that will take use through Hartwick, Garratsville, New Berlin, Sherberne, Earlville and into Bouckville on the road right next to Ray’s BBQ.  Along the way we will be stopping in New Berlin at the Stewarts for a typical rest and discussion.  After a few hours in Bouckville,we will be heading back on Route 20 and then Route 7 back to the Pilot.  There will be a stop in either Richfield Springs or Sharon Springs depending on how everyone is feeling.
